MISSION
BOB’s mission is to provide economic leadership, partnership, resources and support for the implementation and management of the Vancouver Agreement’s Economic Revitalization Plan and Employment Strategy for the inner-city of Vancouver with a special emphasis on the Downtown Eastside.
VISION
BOB envisions an inner-city that has been revitalized without displacing existing residents and businesses. Outside businesses are rewarded through their connection to this community and there is high local employment and sourcing. Existing local businesses are thriving. The area is regarded positively locally and globally, and thus is attracting visitors and investment, further reinforcing its revitalization.
