Breville BOV450XL Mini Smart Oven with Element IQ Review

Product Description

Breville Making a Stand

Breville is making a stand against all of those less than stellar toaster ovens out there, and they’re doing so by putting pressure on the competition. Whenever a toaster oven comes across your computer screen, there are a few specific things you should be looking for. You should be trying to figure out whether it’s a high quality product or not, as well as if it’s going to have a drastic impact on your finances. If it cost’s too much, odds are you aren’t going to buy it in the first place – even if it happens to be one of the best review based toaster ovens you’ve ever seen. I rely on most of the time, but I though I’d give it a shot myself this go around.

Why a Toaster Oven?

Regular ovens are so 2002, it’s about time that you came into the modern technology trends. Toaster ovens will give you every single thing that a regular oven does, except without taking up the same amount of space. You’ll have more places to put your preferred cookware, as well as many other things.

Is It High Quality

This 4 quartz 1800 watt toaster oven comes equipped with Element IQ Technology, which is pretty much a smart way of saying it’s programmed to never burn your food. There’s a function dial that has 8 different settings for your cooking requirements, it’s also a worthy thing to note that this isn’t a under the cabinet toaster oven. It’s got the capacity to handle 4 slices of toast at a time, and 11 inches of pizza – there are three different rack positions to keep in mind as well. The powder coated steel housing and non-stick interior were wonderful things to see, and it meant that I wasn’t going to be frequently scrubbing my toaster oven off.

The Pro’s & Con’s of This Toaster

I’ve seen larger interiors on toaster ovens, and that lead me to believe that this wasn’t going to be the proper fit for me. I bought it regardless, and was pleasantly surprised, but I still wish there was some more interior space to work with.

The 1800 watts of power included within this toaster oven make sure your food is going to be cooked towards perfection, and the stainless steel housing is just the cherry on top. I’ve never burnt myself while using this toaster oven, and that’s pretty much all you could ever ask for – it also does a great job with toasting bread in general. Breville is a very trusted brand, and I had no problem putting a bit of faith in them this time around.

So, The Summary?

It’s a great toaster oven that helps me handle quick meals, as well as snacks and such. The interior space isn’t the largest, but it’s not like I’m going to be cooking pot roasts in there (or am I?). Either way, it’s an awesome toaster oven that can be used for many different reasons.
